CYCLE 012: CORDURA TRAIL SHORT
How can we make a better trail short? Tough to the studs, but built around movement for high output expeditions.
Enter: the CORDURA Trail Short.
Built with the storied fabric that’s become a key innovation across our Utility Shorts & Boardshorts, this trail short features unique front zip pockets modeled over body-mapped topology called ‘Langer’s Lines.’
The result is our most advanced, mobility-centered Trail Short yet. But it needs further testing in the field.

APPLY TO BECOME A TEST PILOT
It started with a simple idea: get gear in the hands of our community, gather intel on its performance through wear-testing, make the gear better, repeat. Since then, our member wear-testing program has evolved into something much greater than we could have ever anticipated – a real community.
Dear Team,
I teach taekwondo in Pipestone, Minnesota. during the dead of winter, our doing hovers around 65F. Sometimes after practice I can’t feel my toes, haha.
My whole body just freezes even with under-armour beneath my dobok. Would there be a product that I can test for you that I could wear under my uniform this winter?
Many Mahalos,
Myrra
Would love to be a test pilot. I live in high desert 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe. I’m a firefighter and when I’m not working you can find me mountain biking, swimming, paddle boarding, climbing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, hunting and getting the little ones outside! I’m really good at beating stuff up. Pick me! (775) 276-8881.
Hello, I am interested in becoming a test pilot. How can I become one? Where do I need to apply? Do I need to be a certain type of person or would you choose anyone? Thanks,
Anthony Troy
I am an avid windsurf wave sailor leaving on Oahu for over 30 years and I am originally from Tahiti.
I would like to be part of the “Test Pilot” program and showcase your products.
Although windsurfing is different from surfing I believe it’s important to test your products on similar activities.
Thank you for your consideration and I am looking forward to your response.
Aloha,
Franklin Moux
I have been surfing since I have been in my teens. I am now 52years old this month. I am the oldest of three brothers’ who all surf and have two children of my own which surf as well. My 18year daughter is a lifeguard and 12-year-old son is a passionate and competitive surfer. I have been fortunate enough to see the world on surfboard and really appreciate surfing as a whole and what it has done for me in my life. I carry the stoke every day and try to pay it forward. I feel it would be a privilege to have the opportunity to be a test pilot for John John. Surfing for me is a lifestyle and I will always be committed to the surf community until my last breath. lol
