CYCLE 012: CORDURA TRAIL SHORT

CYCLE 012: CORDURA TRAIL SHORT

How can we make a better trail short? Tough to the studs, but built around movement for high output expeditions.

Enter: the CORDURA Trail Short.

Built with the storied fabric that’s become a key innovation across our Utility Shorts & Boardshorts, this trail short features unique front zip pockets modeled over body-mapped topology called ‘Langer’s Lines.’

The result is our most advanced, mobility-centered Trail Short yet. But it needs further testing in the field.

APPLY TO BECOME A TEST PILOT

It started with a simple idea: get gear in the hands of our community, gather intel on its performance through wear-testing, make the gear better, repeat. Since then, our member wear-testing program has evolved into something much greater than we could have ever anticipated – a real community.

I have been surfing since I have been in my teens. I am now 52years old this month. I am the oldest of three brothers’ who all surf and have two children of my own which surf as well. My 18year daughter is a lifeguard and 12-year-old son is a passionate and competitive surfer. I have been fortunate enough to see the world on surfboard and really appreciate surfing as a whole and what it has done for me in my life. I carry the stoke every day and try to pay it forward. I feel it would be a privilege to have the opportunity to be a test pilot for John John. Surfing for me is a lifestyle and I will always be committed to the surf community until my last breath. lol

    How about a new category?

    Test Pilots 70 and above?

Why not use our experience to make your products better, if that’s possible.

So many of us 70 and over have 60 or more years in the water.

    Thanks for listening

    Mark

I am a big fan of Florence Marine. I started with your Adapt Long Sleeve that I first found via JCrew and have since purchased the Adapt Short Sleeve. I am eager to try your shorts and pants as I think they would be great for someone like me. I live in New York City and love the city but I am originally from San Diego and have a huge part of me the loves the beach and outdoors. I am an avid saltwater fisherman and think your products work for both my fishing trips as well as my general ’’city’’ days here. If possible I would love to be a tester and happy to provide feedback for you.

    Yeah Florence Crew!!

First off- congratulations JJF on his third title!! I called that pre pipe this year! There was really nobody else surfing the way he was/is! So great to see him persevere into his potential and beyond!! Furthermore, congratulations on the brand..! I know some good peeps have the reigns, keep up the frothy good work. Many moons ago I worked for CI at their factory in Carp Ca. I now reside with my family in Oregon. Their are some amazing waves up here..! I would love to test out some of y’alls colder winter gear if you ever need a could test pilot up in the PNW, please, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Have you considered having the zippers on board shorts zip down not up? With maybe a little bigger handle, and no string for aesthetics. I like the string up high, but might look funny down low .
    Thanks
