TEST PILOT SPOTLIGHT: STUART JEREMIAS

TEST PILOT SPOTLIGHT: STUART JEREMIAS
GIVE US A BRIEF RUNDOWN OF WHO YOU ARE (NAME, AGE, LOCATION), AND WHAT YOU’RE PASSIONATE ABOUT.
My name is Stuart Jeremias. I’m 18 years old, born and raised in Newport Beach. I’m passionate about getting out in the ocean and testing my limits.

WHAT’S YOUR DISCIPLINE? (CANOE, SURFING, ETC. OK TO NAME A FEW)
My disciplines are prone paddle boarding, lifeguarding, and surfing.

Stu Test Pilot Paddling M2O Molokai to Oahu
WHAT’S THE NEXT CHALLENGE FOR YOU IN THE OUTDOORS?
My next challenge will be the upcoming Catalina Classic. I also have my eyes set on a San Clemente Island run in the near future.

WHAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF IN YOUR DISCIPLINE?
I’m very proud of my recent finish at the 2023 Molokai 2 Oahu race. Crossing the Kaiwi channel was one of the most challenging  things I have ever done.

WHAT PIECE OF FLORENCE GEAR DO YOU TEST THE MOST?
I test the Hooded Rashguard the most. It is my go-to for long days out on the water. I love the sun protection it provides and the hidden pocket is great for stashing nutrition.

The CORDURA Boardshorts are also an important part of my kit. Super lightweight and flexible. Hands down, the best trunks I’ve ever used.
