How to Care for Your Boardshorts
We’ve spent a lot of time ensuring the things you get from us are built to last. But, if you show them the right care, they’ll last even longer – and stay out of the landfill.
Read on for our suggestions on how to care for your boardshorts.
Less Laundering. Less Impact.
When you wash your boardshorts – especially those with polyester construction – they ‘shed’ microfiber plastics that often end up in our oceans. Whenever possible, we suggest spot-treating and hang-drying our garments. This ultimately saves water, is easier on your gear extending longevity and reduces microfiber shedding.
Washing machines can be pretty brutal on boardshorts over time. Aside from shedding microfiber plastic, they can wreak havoc on the seams, the water-repellency and the longevity of the short. Whenever possible, wash by hand with fresh water and gentle soap. If you absolutely have to wash them in a machine, we suggest a side-load washer without a center agitator as this will be easier on your gear and help extend its longevity.
Never put your boardshorts in the dryer. It’s hot in there. Really hot. This is especially true with our Weld Boardshort, but applies to the rest of our line. Always, always, always hang them on your backyard fence or a line to air dry.

We offer free shipping on all U.S. Orders over $125. Orders are processed and shipped within one to two business days. All shipping is standard shipping via USPS, UPS, and Fedex. We currently do not offer expedited shipping.

Your products are still in original condition, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original packaging.

Please note that only items purchased through FlorenceMarineX.com can be returned through our online store. All items purchased through physical retail stores must be returned to where they were originally purchased.
Returns take 7-15 business days to be processed. Once a return has been processed, it may take up to 7 days after we process the return to reflect on your account. However, in some instances, it may take your bank or financial institution up to one billing cycle.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns or exchanges on pro/expert orders.
INTERNATIONAL - ORDERS & SHIPPING
We offer international shipping (for all products besides wetsuits) to most countries (with the exclusion of Brazil, Chile, Russia and Ukraine). Import duties & taxes are collected/paid at checkout, which means you won't receive another bill for duties or taxes after receiving your shipment. Some carriers charge for delivery reattempts. You will be responsible for any reattempt charges the carrier may charge. The average international order is typically delivered 3-5 weeks* from time of purchase (*Estimate shown at checkout is in business days and does not include 5-7 business days to pick, pack and deliver to our international shipping partner).
